Daria was a Chief Pediatric Resident at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children prior to joining the Department of Biomedical Informatics (DBHi) at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) as a clinical informatics fellow in 2016. While Chief Resident, she was an inaugural member of the hospital’s Medical Informatics Committee and contributed to the institution’s Center for Quality, Operational Excellence, and Patient Safety. She completed her Pediatrics residency training at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children and is board certified in Pediatrics. Daria earned her BA from Barnard College in Neuroscience and Behavior and her MD from SUNY Downstate College of Medicine. Her clinical informatics interests include utilizing clinical data and research-based methodologies in innovative ways to optimize the quality and safety of patient care. She completed her fellowship in June, 2018 and is now an assistant professor with the Perelman School of Medicine. Daria is board certified in clinical informatics.
