DBHi's talented multidisciplinary team combines both technological and scientific expertise to transform research and clinical data into innovative solutions that directly impact patient outcomes. Additionally, DBHi provides an academic home for all research informatics activities, including the development and deployment of intellectual, technical, and educational resources in biomedical computing, along with the ACGME-accredited Clinical Informatics Fellowship program at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.

DBHi consists of a variety of programs that rely on team science, including Arcus - a project-centered program for CHOP’s research community that seamlessly links biological, clinical, research, and environmental data.

Clinical Informatics Fellowship

The Clinical Informatics Fellowship at CHOP provides training for successful careers as a practicing informatician, leader, and innovator in academic, healthcare, and industry settings. The two-year program includes both didactic and rotational training. All physician faculty in the Fellowship Program are board certified through the ABPM-Clinical Informatics Subspecialty Board. Two Clinical Informatics Fellowship positions are awarded each year.
