Tamara Miller, MD, MSCE

Tamara became a member of DBHi in 2016. Tamara is a core faculty member at the Center for Pediatric Clinical Effectiveness (CPCE), an attending physician and an instructor in the Division of Oncology at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). Her research interests, broadly, are in the care of children with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. Her MSCE thesis and fellowship research project identified global under-reporting of adverse events on pediatric oncology clinical trials. Her current research aims to improve the accuracy and efficiency of adverse event reporting by developing a new method that uses electronic medical record data to identify and grade toxicities. Tamara received her AB from Harvard College and her MD from Yale University School of Medicine. She completed her residency in Pediatrics in 2011 and her fellowship in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology in 2014, both at CHOP. She also received a Master of Science in Clinical Epidemiology (MSCE) from the University of Pennsylvania.
