Linda Fleisher, PhD, MPH
Linda has over 30 years of experience in health education, health communications, public health program evaluation, and the development and evaluation of innovative health interventions, including web-enabled interventions. In 2013, she joined the Center for Injury Research and Prevention at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) to lead its Digital Health Initiative. In recent years, she has focused much of her programmatic and research efforts on Digital Health -- from design, user testing, and usability to implementation and evaluation. Linda has a particular interest in health literacy and informed consent. She has developed a number of easy reading materials, co-authored the Practical Guide to Informed Consent, and directed a Pfizer-funded project to train health care organizations to better understand the health literacy needs of their patients. She is also a Senior Fellow at the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School’s Leonard Davis Institute of Health Economics, and an Adjunct Fellow at the University of Pennsylvania’s Center for Public Health Initiatives. She received her MPH and PhD from Temple University.
