Long is currently a graduate student working with Kai Tan’s research lab. He is pursuing his PhD in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Iowa. Long’s graduate research interest is in developing computational methods that help understand gene regulatory networks and disease development. In particular, his research is based on integrating genomic and interactome data to identify gene regulatory pathways during stem cell fate specification and pathogenesis. Long holds a BS in Computer Science from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, China.
