Wenbao Yu, PhD
Research Post Doctoral Fellow
Wenbao works in Kai Tan’s lab as a post-doctoral fellow. His main research interest is developing statistical and computational methods to better understand chromosome structure, interactions and genome variations. He served as a Post-Doctoral Fellow at Seoul National University in the Department of Statistics and also served as a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at the University of Iowa in the Department of Internal Medicine. He holds his PhD in Computational Mathematics from the University of Science and Technology in China and a PhD in Statistics from Chonnam National University, South Korea. He also holds a BSc in Mathematics and Applied Mathematics from Chongqing University, China.
