Mo Rehman serves as director of the first Pediatric Anesthesia and Critical Care Biomedical Informatics group in the nation. In addition to establishing the first pediatric anesthesia data warehouse, his team developed a visual analytics tool to support clinical decision support. He has built collaborative ventures with national agencies including Anesthesia Quality Institute (AQI) and Society for Pediatric Anesthesia (SPA) resulting in the development of the Pedi Crisis Application, the first digital application for both Windows and iOS platforms where static guidelines have been converted to an interactive patient-specific tool. This application is incorporated with Google Analytics, making it possible to track usage and deployment in real time. Mo is one of the first Pediatric Anesthesiologists and Critical Care Physicians formally trained in Biomedical Informatics. He received his MD from Mysore Medical College, Mysore, India and is board certified in anesthesiology, pediatrics, critical care medicine , pediatric anesthesiology and clinical informatics.
