Research Informatics Programmer
Jerry Shaeffer joined DBHi as an Programmer in the Applications Research team in the Translational Informatics Unit in late 2015. He graduated from the University of Michigan's Masters of Health Informatics in earlier in 2015, where he focused on user experience design & data analytics coursework, building on his undergraduate degree in Neuroscience. Prior to his Masters, Jerry worked at Penn as a Clinical Research Assistant where he developed data management tools in addition to supporting multiple research studies. While receiving his Masters, Jerry worked as an intern in a mobile health startup and as a software developer for multiple academic research projects at Michigan's med school and Institute for Social Research.
