Noor Dawany, PhD
Noor joined DBHi's Genome Analysis group after her post-doctoral fellowship with the The Wistar Institute, where she served as a staff scientist analyzing NGS and other genomics data for a wide variety of diseases and conditions, including lymphoma, inflammatory bowel disease, HIV, and influenza. She has experience in biomarker identification and characterization, a variety of functional genomics techniques, signature development, and the application of genomics endpoints to clinical trials and has applied these skills as the lead analyst on several multifunctional teams. In her role at DBHi, she will be supporting the bioinformatics needs for CHOP’s IBD Center. Noor received a PhD in Biomedical Engineering – Bioinformatics/Computational Biology in 2010 and received dual BS degrees in Mathematics and Biology from Spalding University.
