Anthony Luberti, MD
Medical Director, Informatics Education
Tony leads DBHi's education program as its medical director and serves in a variety of other roles in CHOP, including medical director of both CHOP's nurse call center and EpicCare's ambulatory electronic medical record program for the CHOP Care Network. Tony is also active in the practice of pediatric medicine at the Hospital's primary care centers by serving as the attending physician and preceptor for pediatric medical residents. In his tenure with DBHi, Tony has established a robust array of seminar and colloquial series, a popular annual all-day healthcare informatics symposium, curriculum-focused informatics initiatives, and collaborations with informatics programs throughout the Philadelphia area and beyond. Tony received his MD from the University Of Pennsylvania School Of Medicine and completed his pediatric residency at St. Christopher's Hospital and fellowship in Faculty Development at Thomas Jefferson University. He also holds a master's degree in Information Science and is is board certified in clinical informatics. He is also an adjunct professor for Temple University's health informatics post-graduate program.
